Fraud – Section 380 Criminal Code
Fraud is the use of deceit, falsehood and fraudulent means to deprive a person of a property, money, security or service. In the case of testamentary instruments or other subject matter valued about $5,000 being involved, the maximum punishment may not exceed fourteen (14) years of imprisonment. Alternatively, when the subject matter is valued lesser than $5,000, the accused is punished with imprisonment for term not exceeding two years.
